Block Overview

o Setup block for the Post Processor and works in conjunction with the command-line simulation to save the results from runs with different parameters value in separate files.

o Configure save/view of the TimeDataPlotter, XYPlotter, DS_TimeDataPlotter, DS_XYPlotter, Histogram and Display blocks from the Post Processor.

Description

This block works in conjunction with the Configure Model utility of the Post Processor. This block supports the TimeDataPlotter, XYPlotter, DS_TimeDataPlotter, DS_XYPlotter, Histogram and Display plotters only. This block defines the output directory to save all the plots in the model. If the PlotManager is not used, then the default path values in the Plotter block will be used for saving the plot or text values. After instantiating the PlotManager in the model, define the Plot_Path must be defined.

The Plot_Path must be an actual path and cannot reference a Parameter. It must end with an /. There cannot be any spaces in this parameter.

The PostProcessor is used to configure the model and create an Index file in the destination directory.

The PostProcessor requires a separate install. The sequence of steps in the PostProcessor are:

Add the PlotManager in the Model. One instance is sufficient for the entire model.
Open the PostProcessor.
Click on Activity -> Configure Model and select the model.
Select the parameters that will be modified for the simulation runs.
Select the View/Save/Unselect for each Plot and Display. This lists all the plots and Displays in the model. For batch simulation, you must select none or Save. View will generate an error.
Click OK.
Run the simulations by varying the parameters.
Now, return to the PostProcessor.
Click on Activity -> Open Plot Index.
Select the runs from the top-half and plots from the bottom half. Click on the appropriate view button. The plots will be displayed with the combined views.

Plot_Path	This is path to the directory where all the results plots must be placed. This parameter will overwrite the path in the Plotter blocks, if the model is Configured using the Post Processor utility. The format is either "http://www.mirabilisdesign.com/loc/" (URL, file located anywhere on the Internet) or "C:/VisualSim/loc/" (Windows) or "VisualSim/loc/" (Unix/Linux).
