SysML is a fantastic way to capture the use cases, requirements and even the architecture. Now you can simulate these diagrams against system models of electronics and networks using VisualSim Architect. This new capability enables designers to evaluate the feasbility, size the system, identify inefficiency, measure quality-of-service and evaluate reliability with failure cases. In this video, we take a SysML use-case in Magic Draw, import into VisualSim along with the requirements and parameters. We then map this use case against a hardware platform built using the VisualSim Architect modeling IP library.
As part of the study, we run parameter sweeps, distribute simulations in parallel across multiple core, experiment different mapping with the use-case and hardware, and try out different hardware topologies.
The net result is a validation of the use-case and an initial feedback on the requirement electronics and network platform. The platform can be integrated or distributed; can be a single semiconductor device or an AI accelerator.
